If Show-Me Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Training Center Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Creed Lopez. Training Center Christian simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Show-Me Christian Angels 60-22 thanks in part to Lopez, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last 23 games he's played dating back to last season.
The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Korn, who posted five points in addition to eight steals and five boards. Those eight steals gave him a new career-high.
The win made it two in a row for Training Center Christian and bumps their season record up to 12-7. As for Show-Me Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
