Volleyball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Has No Trouble Against Temple Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity Christian, Midland Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Temple Christian Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Midland Classical Academy was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-16.

With the victory, Midland Classical Academy broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-16-1. As for Temple Christian, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Midland Classical Academy will take on rival Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Temple Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Lubbock Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
