Volleyball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor lost against Farmington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the River Hawks. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Windsor started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Windsor lost, don't look at Tucker Sanders. Despite the final result, he had 36 digs. With that strong performance, Sanders is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Farmington, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Windsor and Farmington will both be playing Hall the next time they take the court. The River Hawks will host the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
