Softball Recap: Carson City-Crystal Comes Up Short

Carson City-Crystal lost to St. Charles back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 20-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Haven Reeder was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Carson City-Crystal's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for St. Charles, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carson City-Crystal will host Ovid-Elsie at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Charles, they will welcome Birch Run at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
