Baseball Recap: Floyd Central Has No Trouble Against Magoffin County

Floyd Central had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Magoffin County on Tuesday. The Floyd Central Jaguars blew past the Magoffin County Hornets 14-4. The Jaguars not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2024.

Landon Prater looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk).

At the plate, Jace Martin was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Barrett Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
