Rowlett's last matchup with Wylie could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Eagles came up short against the Pirates, falling 17-2. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Rowlett saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylee Grant, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Rowlett now has a losing record of 11-12-1. As for Wylie, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

Coincidentally, Rowlett and Wylie will both be playing Garland the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Owls at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Pirates will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
