Baseball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Takes a Loss

Bishop McDevitt lost against Lower Dauphin back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders fell 7-2 to the Falcons. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Calvin Snyder made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Comp, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bishop McDevitt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lower Dauphin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop McDevitt will head out to take on Central Dauphin East at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Lower Dauphin, they are taking a road trip to face off against Shippensburg at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
