Basketball Recap: North Allegheny Comes Up Short

North Allegheny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 71-67 heartbreaker at the hands of the Butler Golden Tornado. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Tornado earlier this season, when they won 66-56.

North Allegheny's record now sits at 5-9. As for Butler, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5.

When North Allegheny and Butler next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. North Allegheny will challenge Seneca Valley and their eight-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Butler will try to stop North Hills' three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
