Basketball Recap: Knippa Comes Up Short

Knippa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 40-26 to the Rocksprings Angoras. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Angoras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-32 back in December of 2025.

Knippa's loss dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Rocksprings, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Knippa will challenge rival Utopia at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rocksprings is set to face off against their familiar foe Leakey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
