Soccer Recap: Glendale's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Glendale's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Muir Mustangs a 2-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Nitros as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Narek Naghdalyan and Raymond Mansuryan scored both of Glendale's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The win got Glendale back to even at 7-7-4. As for Muir, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-5.

Glendale will head out to challenge Hoover at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Muir, they will venture away from home to take on Pasadena at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
