Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Wando

Wando had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Stratford Knights by a score of 3-1. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Wando was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7, 21-25, 25-10.

Wando's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was McKenna St. Clair, who had 29 assists and five digs. St. Clair is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Felton, who had 18 assists and six digs.

Wando was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Wando's record now sits at 9-5. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

Looking ahead, Wando will challenge Bishop England at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stratford, they will face off against Lucy Beckham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
