Football Game Preview: Whitmer Panthers vs. St. Edward Eagles

Two dominant backs in Joey Morales and Brandon White are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Whitmer Panthers will head out to take on the St. Edward Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitmer's defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so St. Edward's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Whitmer is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Perrysburg 17-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Whitmer relied on the efforts of Jamon Holmes, who rushed for 69 yards and two TDs, and Brandon Waddell, who gained 101 total yards. Holmes has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

Whitmer's record now sits at 9-2. As for St. Edward, their record is now an identical 9-2.
