Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Haverford Fords

The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. The matchup between Worthington Kilbourne and Haverford wasn't particularly close, with Worthington Kilbourne falling 40-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Worthington Kilbourne has scored all season.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Te'mar Lewis, who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Page, who scored four points along with four steals.

Worthington Kilbourne now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Haverford, their victory bumped their record up to 1-7.

Worthington Kilbourne won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023. North Raleigh Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Worthington Kilbourne likes a good challenge. As for Haverford, they will head out on the road to face off against Marple Newtown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marple Newtown has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
