Basketball Recap: Shelby County's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Shelby County had to endure a 15-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the North Bullitt Eagles by a score of 63-53 on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rockets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Eagles are ranked 99th).

Shelby County's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-19. As for North Bullitt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season.

Shelby County will square off against Grant County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Bullitt has already played their next contest (against Bullitt Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
