Soccer Game Preview: Copper Hills vs. Herriman

The Copper Hills Grizzlies will challenge the Herriman Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Copper Hills is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mountain Ridge just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sentinels, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Copper Hills' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Herriman kept a clean sheet against Westlake on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Thunder. The result was nothing new for Herriman, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Herriman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those 11 matchups. As for Copper Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
