Volleyball Recap: Alpena Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Alpena was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gaylord on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Cadillac Vikings on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

While Alpena was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10, 25-12.

Cadillac can attribute much of their success to Grace Zubeck, who had 11 digs.

Alpena's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-14-2. As for Cadillac, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 27-6.

Coming up, Alpena is taking a road trip to take on Petoskey at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cadillac has already played their next match (against Mt. Morris), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
