Volleyball Recap: Barrington Fillies/Broncos vs. Schaumburg Saxons
Barrington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Schaumburg Saxons by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Fillies/Broncos who have now won six matches in a row.
Barrington easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-16.
Barrington has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-9 record this season. As for Schaumburg, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-30.
Barrington will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Prospect at 6:00 p.m. Prospect is coming into the matchup with three straight wins at home, so Barrington will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Schaumburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
