Football Recap: Pleasant Hill Comes Up Short

Pleasant Hill's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (21-14), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as they came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Cardinals are ranked 200th).

The critical scores for Clinton came from Markus Oliver, Payton Goth, and Camden Westendorff.

Pleasant Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Clinton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
