Flag Football Recap: Don Lugo Comes Up Short

Don Lugo fell victim to Bishop Amat and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They were dealt a 32-0 defeat at the hands of the Lancers. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Conquistadores, who until this contest were averaging 12.53 points allowed.

Lyla Terry went supernova For Bishop Amat., throwing for 171 yards and four TDs, while also rushing for 73 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. What's more, Terry racked up 114.7 passer rating, the most she's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Mya Partida, who picked up 94 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Don Lugo is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12-1. As for Bishop Amat, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season.
