Basketball Recap: California Skates Past Blair Oaks with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but California had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Blair Oaks Falcons 59-17. The Pintos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win (which was California's third in a row) raised their record to 19-8. As for Blair Oaks, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. California will venture away from home to square off against Eldon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. California knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Eldon likes a good challenge. As for Blair Oaks, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons face off against the Blue Jays at 6:15 p.m. on February 27th.
