Basketball Recap: Boys & Girls Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bushwick back in December of 2024, Boys & Girls came back down to earth. The Boys & Girls Kangaroos had to suffer through a 51-22 loss at the hands of the Achievement First N/A. The Kangaroos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the N/A apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Boys & Girls' defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Achievement First, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brooklyn Law & Tech the next time they take the court. Boys & Girls will host Brooklyn Law & Tech at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Achievement First will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
