On Thursday, the Columbia Eagles humbled the Meridian Bobcats with an 84-51 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Columbia was led to victory by Brody Landgraf and Eddie Smajic. Landgraf posted 21 points, while Smajic scored 19 points. The contest was Smajic's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Micah James, who earned 11 points.

The win made it two in a row for Columbia and bumps their season record up to 24-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.5 points. As for Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-8.

Coming up, Columbia will be playing at home against Rochester at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rochester is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season. Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
