Basketball Recap: Hannah Clark Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Jackson Prep

Leake Academy won the last time they faced Jackson Prep and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rebels came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 56-44. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Leake Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Clark, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points and six rebounds. Clark continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Prince, who shot 42% from the field en route to 13 points.

Leake Academy's record now sits at 10-3. As for Jackson Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leake Academy will take on Tri-County Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Prep, they will challenge Simpson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
