While New Brockton's win against Charles Henderson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Gamecocks narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Trojans 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Gamecocks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

New Brockton's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Charles Henderson, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Brockton will venture away from home to face off against Straughn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charles Henderson, they will challenge Brewbaker Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
