Dade County lost to Murray County on August 7th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wolverines had just enough and edged out the Indians 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dade County got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 20-25, 15-12.

Caroline Bell paced Dade County's offense, picking up ten kills. Bell got some help from Myah York and her nine assists. York was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Dade County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Murray County, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Dade County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Ringgold on the 2nd. As for Murray County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against LaFayette on the 28th.
