Basketball Recap: Wagener-Salley Takes a Loss

Wagener-Salley won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They came up short against the Calhoun County Saints, falling 53-32. The loss continues a trend for the War Eagles in their matchups with the Saints: they've now lost nine in a row.

Wagener-Salley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Calhoun County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Wagener-Salley will square off against North at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. North is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.9 points per game this season. As for Calhoun County, they will challenge Williston-Elko at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
