Basketball Recap: Sully Buttes Victorious

Sully Buttes won the last time they faced North Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Sully Buttes Chargers came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Central Thunder, sneaking past 53-50.

North Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ella Batie, who posted 15 points along with eight boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Amree Vander Vorst, who earned 18 points and three steals.

The win got Sully Buttes back to even at 1-1. As for North Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Sully Buttes and Lyman will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-37 victory against McIntosh on the 14th.
