Football Recap: Sutter Piles Up the Points Against Rosemont

Sutter had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to the Rosemont Wolverines for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won ten matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sutter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Losi Asiata, who rushed for 169 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Asiata's longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Braden Scritchfield, who rushed for 32 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Sutter didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Andrew Barker led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Deagan Parks got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Sutter's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Rosemont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Sutter will take on Hilmar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rosemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
