Baseball Recap: D'Iberville Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, D'Iberville was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ocean Springs Greyhounds. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

D'Iberville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Naron, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

D'Iberville's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Ocean Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season.

While D'Iberville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
