At the plate, Nevaeh Hall and Kyndal Parsons stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hall scored a run while going 3-for-5, while Parsons scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Hall also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
Midland Trail's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cross Lanes Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Midland Trail's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cross Lanes Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. It's a different story for Midland Trail, though, as they've only averaged .250. Will they be able to contain Cross Lanes Christian's hitters?
