A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Central Academy Cougars face off against the Piedmont Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Central Academy is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 39th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Parkwood and fell 70-13. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-7.

Meanwhile, Piedmont played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Forest Hills, falling 57-34. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost three in a row.

Central Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Piedmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Central Academy was dealt a bruising 57-17 loss at the hands of Piedmont in their previous matchup back in January. Can Central Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
