Goddard is 9-1 against Northwest since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Grizzlies. Goddard is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Goddard came up short against Bishop Carroll and fell 5-2.

Goddard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Topham, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Northwest was able to grind out a solid victory over Olathe South on Friday, taking the game 11-6.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Goddard, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Everything went Goddard's way against Northwest in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Goddard made off with a 12-2 victory. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
