Venice has no trouble against Fairfax

The Venice Gondoliers entered their tilt with the Fairfax Lions with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went Venice's way against Fairfax on Friday as Venice made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering Venice has won six matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Venice is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. As for Fairfax, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5-6.
Venice does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairfax, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chatsworth at 4:00 p.m. on February 14th. Chatsworth's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
