Football Game Recap: Melrose vs. Wilmington

Melrose won the last time they met up with Wilmington, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Melrose had just enough and edged out Wilmington 17-14. The success made it back-to-back wins for Melrose.

The victory bumped Melrose's record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Wilmington back to even at 2-2.

Melrose are packing up and heading on the road for their first away game this season. They face off against Stoneham next week at 6:30 PM. These teams both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. Wilmington will look to defend their home turf against Watertown at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
