Basketball Game Preview: Jeffers Jets vs. Wright Red Devils + How To Watch

The Jeffers Jets will head out to challenge the Wright Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jeffers knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Wright likes a good challenge.

Jeffers barely beat Ontonagon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jets were the clear victors by a 71-51 margin over the Gladiators on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Jets in their matchups with the Gladiators: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Wright on Monday. They greeted the New Year with with a 60-43 victory over L'Anse.

Wright's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Jeffers, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Things could have been worse for Jeffers, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-41 loss to Wright in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Can the Jets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
