Baseball Game Preview: Brodhead/Juda Cardinals vs. Edgerton Crimson Tide

The Brodhead/Juda Cardinals will challenge the Edgerton Crimson Tide at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Brodhead/Juda has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Brodhead/Juda fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Big Foot on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 3-2.

Brodhead/Juda saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Searls, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edgerton). They came out on top against New Glarus by a score of 12-9 on Friday.

The victory got Edgerton back to even at 4-4. As for Brodhead/Juda, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Brodhead/Juda couldn't quite finish off Edgerton in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
