Dylan Firmstone Game Report: vs Mt. Lebanon

While Hempfield Area might've come up empty on Monday, Dylan Firmstone wasn't going down without a fight. Firmstone tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) he has had since back in May of 2024.

Even though Firmstone couldn't lead Hempfield Area over Mt. Lebanon, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
