Baseball Recap: Shelby Comes Up Short

Shelby lost against East Gaston last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Shelby came up short against East Gaston, falling 20-2. The Golden Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shelby's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for East Gaston, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Shelby is set to face off against their familiar foe Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, East Gaston will square off against rival Burns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
