Volleyball Recap: Lake Wales Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Wales can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Lakeland Dreadnaughts on Monday. The Highlanders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the loss, Lake Wales still got an impressive performance from Miguel Binzha, who had 32 digs and one assist. Binzha is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last ten games he's played. Marcos Cabrera also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Lake Wales' defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lakeland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-11.

Lake Wales does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeland, they will face off against Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bloodhounds will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Dreadnaughts surely won't give up without a fight.
