Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Evergreen

The Mountain View Thunder will head out on the road to challenge the Evergreen Plainsmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Mountain View's offense. They lost 4-0 to Camas on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Union. That's two games in a row now that Evergreen have lost by exactly two goals.

Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Mountain View was able to grind out a solid victory over Evergreen when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Thunder have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Plainsmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
