Austin Sprague turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Cambria Heights is 5-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 3-5 otherwise.

Sprague's strong effort led Cambria Heights over Conemaugh Valley and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders are a perfect 4-0 against the Blue Jays going back to March of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
