The West Limestone Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Randolph School Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when West Limestone duked it out with Ardmore on Friday. West Limestone fell just short of Ardmore by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since February 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, Randolph School came up short against Orange Beach on Tuesday and fell 5-1.

Liam Tomalty put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Tomalty wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jaxton Bennett, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Bradford Hall also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

West Limestone's record is now 5-8. As for Randolph School, their record now sits at 3-6.
