Soccer Game Preview: Tuscaloosa County vs. Prattville

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Tuscaloosa County challenge Prattville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tuscaloosa County knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Prattville likes a good challenge.

Tuscaloosa County's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Holt with a sharp 10-0 win. It was an even better day for Carolina Alvarez as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Prattville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Chelsea. While losing is never fun, Prattville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Chelsea are ranked 13th).

Tuscaloosa County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four contests. As for Prattville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1.
