Volleyball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Lincoln-Way East Griffins

The Reavis Rams will take on the Lincoln-Way East Griffins in a tournament on Wednesday. Reavis has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Lincoln-Way East will come in with ten straight victories.

Last Wednesday, Reavis came up short against Oak Forest and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way East faced Lockport in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Griffins had just enough and edged out the Porters 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lincoln-Way East got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 21-25, 25-19.

Reavis' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Lincoln-Way East, their win bumped their record up to 20-7.

Reavis couldn't quite get it done against Lincoln-Way East in their previous meeting back in October of 2021 as they fell 2-0. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
