Softball Recap: Springville Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Springville finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodward-Granger Hawks. The game marked the Orioles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Springville's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Woodward-Granger, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Springville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-7 victory against West Marshall on the 31st. As for Woodward-Granger, they will venture away from home to square off against Panorama at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
