Franklin hadn't done well against School of the Arts recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Silverhawks. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Silverhawks on Wednesday, they had to take a 14-9 loss.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for School of the Arts, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for School of the Arts, they will square off against Northstar Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
