Basketball Recap: Airport Comes Up Short

Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 71-59 to the Grosse Ile Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-59 back in January.

Airport's record is now 2-15. As for Grosse Ile, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Airport will host Huron at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grosse Ile, they will challenge Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grosse Ile is facing Milan at the right time seeing as Milan is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
