Gilbert Classical Academy is a perfect 6-0 against Lincoln Prep since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. On Friday, Gilbert Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Arete Prep, taking the game 3-1.

Gilbert Classical Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Prep lost 3-0 to San Carlos on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-11.

Gilbert Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Lincoln Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Everything went Gilbert Classical Academy's way against Lincoln Prep when the teams last played back in September, as Gilbert Classical Academy made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
