Baseball Recap: Mt. Enterprise Comes Up Short

After flying high against New Summerfield back in March, Mt. Enterprise came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against Northside Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 22-1.

Mt. Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northside Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 40-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mt. Enterprise will be playing at home against New Summerfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Northside Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 20-3 victory against Laneville on the 10th.
