Soccer Recap: Mater Brickell Academy Plays to a Tie

Mater Brickell Academy has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 2. Neither they nor the Pinecrest Prep Crocs could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Bulls have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

With that draw, Mater Brickell Academy's record moves to 2-8-2. Meanwhile, Pinecrest Prep's record is now 12-0-2.

Mater Brickell Academy will square off against Riviera Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Mater Brickell Academy's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pinecrest Prep, they will host Redland Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Pinecrest Prep's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Redland Christian Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
